Yvette signed with Elite Models on a fluke right out of high school, taking her to Japan for three months, the cover of Teen Magazine, and hundreds of commercials. Miss Nipar then spent 20 years as a successful working actor, beginning with a contract role on General Hospital, then guest-starring roles on many primetime television shows, from Melrose Place to CSI. She had a recurring role on 21 Jump Street, on which she played Johnny Depp’s girlfriend, and was a series regular on RoboCop: The Series. After playing the lead in two back-to-back feature films, Walking Tall: The Payback and Walking Tall: Lone Justice, she did a radical act and hung up her hat as an actor, and started a clothing company. Yvette is honored to be a CASA (Court Ordered Special Advocate) for children in foster care.

ACTING DAYS

“I often get asked if I miss acting. Absolutely—especially the camaraderie. But I left when I realized reality shows were taking over—there wasn’t much left for the working actor. I’d also experienced a traumatic event around that time, which is why I started writing a memoir. By the time Netflix and Hulu came around, offering more opportunities, it was much too late for me to try and jump back in; the business doesn’t work that way. I was happily running my small business, and recently started designing repurposed jewelry.” https://www.besodoso.com

Never say never, right? The acting bug is always calling.

MY HAPPY PLACE

“I started riding dirt bikes when I was nine-years-old. I was hooked. I was ten when I first rode on the back of a Harley Davidson, and have owned my own Harley for 30 years.

The wind in my face with my knees in the breeze is everything.”
